Maybe not ideal behaviour but at least they are making an effort. I wont
say I applaud the effort (I'm a fan of opting in as opposed to opting
out), but I am pleasantly suprised.

Not that I find the practice more acceptable now, but the sponsored link
pop
up (now) 'works' on (my) Firefox version, and for those with good eyes,
there is (now) also a link (with pretty clunky behavior) allowing one to
turn off the sponsored links.
Apparently the links are also removed by default from some (Richard's?)
posts. Richard, what address did you mail to get the links removed from
your posts - I want to try that as well.
