[Announcement] First Production Version of SketchPath, The XPath Tool, Scheduled for Year-End 2007 (and New Flash Movie Demo Publushed)
- From: "Philip Fearon" <pgfearo@googlemail.com>
- To: xml-dev@lists.xml.org
- Date: Sun, 11 Nov 2007 12:16:31 +0000
After a 7 month public Beta campaign, the production version of this
free .NET XML Analysis and XPath (1.0) Tool will be available in
December 2007.
A new Flash Movie overview (with voice commentary) of the final Beta
can be viewed at: http://pgfearo.googlepages.com/intro.html
For those list-members who are not one of the 2000+ people who have
already tried out the Beta - please give it a go! Even if you're
content with what is provided by your exsiting tools, why not check
this out to see what else can be done for XPath users?
I'm confident that it won't be too long before similar features (such
as inline predicate-aware debugging + auto-completion) appear in some
of the more established and integrated XML/XSLT editors, but until
then why not use SketchPath?
Thanks go to reviewers/bloggers that gave positive reviews for the
beta product, to List members who provided advice, and also to those
users who have provided encouragement and suggestions for improvement.
The final Beta version of SketchPath (0.5.7.0) will still available
for download from http://pgfearo.googlepages.com/downloads until the
production release date.
