In my experience, SOAP 1.1 is prevalent; 1.2 is, at best, early adopters.
I don't recall anyone using it in production, but I'm probably wrong.
In my opinion, the benefits of 1.2 aren't great enough to force out 1.1;
it's going to happen only because vendors force customers along the path,
not from any customer demand.
