consuming XML document in web service

Title: consuming XML document in web service
I'm trying to pass an XML document into a web service using XMLHttp to pass it. I'm not sure though how to accept the document. I keep getting an error that no input is specified? I'm using vb.Net to create the webservice. Any suggestions or good resources I could go to get this done?
