Call for Review: XML Parsing Using Parallel Bit Streams
- From: Rob Cameron <cameron@cs.sfu.ca>
- To: xml-dev@lists.xml.org
- Date: Thu, 10 Apr 2008 09:47:21 -0700
I previously announced the availability of parabix-0.40, a high-speed
XML parsing engine that employs parallel bit stream technology to
provide dramatic performance improvements over traditional
character-at-a-time parsing. Access to the ongoing development
repository is available through http://parabix.costar.sfu.ca/ .
The Community Patent Review (http://peertopatent.org/ ) is now
seeking reviewers and prior art submissions related to this technology
and specifically to the US patent application 20080033974 entitled
"Method and Apparatus for XML Parsing Using Parallel Bit Streams."
The Community Patent Review is a pilot project of the USPTO operated
by the New York Law School Institute for Information Law and Policy to
evaluate on-line public participation in the patent examination process.
