Ilya,
See
http://www.oxygenxml.com/demo/DocbookEditingInAuthor/docbookEditing.html
oXygen added last year support for visual editing based on CSS. Since
then it was actively developed and now it comes with ready to use
support for DocBook, DITA, TEI and XHTML.
Some advantages include:
- cross platform (Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, Solaris, etc.)
- combines the visual editor with access to the source (text mode)
- supports not only XML Schema and DTD but also Relax NG and Schematron
that should help if you work with the latest version of DocBook for
instance.
- supports transformations to different output formats so you can
convert for example your DocBook to PDF or XHTML in seconds.
- available as a standalone application and as a plugin for Eclipse
- special edition tuned for content authors - oXygen XML Author
Best Regards,
George
