Transformation of RelaxNG syntax into presentation of required markup

Is there a tool for presenting the RelaxNG syntax in a more user friendly way?

I have a fairly large set of related RelaxNG files (xhtml2 + extra modules), and it would be nice to somehow break down the schema syntax into something that better describes the markup that is required for a document instance to be compliant with the schema.

I have tried to use XSLT to transform the RelaxNG files into a set of xhtml files that describes the required markup. But due to the infinite nesting of definitions in the schema, this is a difficult route. If anyone has done it, I would be happy to hear about it.
