Hello Roger,
Thanks very much for this, I shall certainly take a more careful look
at XProc and
run through the tutorials and labs.
My motivation will be, in part, to compare it with Apache Cocoon and its
concept of a pipeline (which I am familiar with though not an expert). If
you know Cocoon, how would you compare them ?
At this stage, before actually doing anything, my main reaction is a bit of
surprise that you use a propriatory format (powerpoint) for the slide
presentation when XProc itself is designed not to be tied to any particular
programming language or operating system.
I would have used PDF myself.
