Lack of traction of XML? Which planet are you on? It is difficult to find
any data that isn't XML.
Or is the "lack of traction" is because the XML standards are not Mom and
Pop standards, so they would never have mass market "traction" in the
first place? HTML is an exception, not the norm. My 82 year old Dad
could do HTML; he could not do RDF or XForms or SVG...it is not just a
syntax issue it is also that these are predicated on the existance of a
backend production process.
