Don't know. I simply post links to a copy of the thread in an archive,
like MarkMail, Nabble, Gossamer. MarkMail has nice short URLs for
getting the root of the thread (click on "Actions"), which incidentally,
in the case of the current one, started out as a thread on "XQuery in
the Shell Part III", which you seem to have, well ... hijacked, as the
jargon has it; inadvertently, of course :-)
