let's consider this example:

Person = (aName, anAdress)
aName = element name
anAddress = element address

you release that schema and it gets a huge success.

then; you want to append new statements in that schema, such as a
Person can have a phone number.

how to send those new statements to the users of the existing schema?

option 1: rewrite a schema, from the existing one, that also contains
these new statements

option 2: define the new statements in another schema, potentially
importing the original one and defining how both merge together.


how to do option2 in XML Schema?
