If people want something as powerful as,
say, JSON, I reckon the attractiveness of
a profile for XML which says that, even
without a schema, in "an instance of
 <para xml:id='abc'>text</para>" the
attribute should be treated as an ID. I
feel like the MicroXML / uXML profile
should allow for this to give us maximum
power still with maximum simplicity. So
this feature would get my personal +1. It
seems to me to warrant the inclusion of
a meaningful colon in the profile. If that
goes beyond the main use case for uXML
(e.g. if people want the uXML/MicroXML
profile to in itself only treat content as
strings on top of which types have to be
layered with say schema, etc) then it
looks to me like a valid case for a uXML++
(MicroXML++) profile, as it were, where
features such as IDs and types can be
applied directly in the XML (albeit still
treating the XML mainly as simple text).
