Conferences, are more valuable to active
participants. Participants find it easier to converse with, and thus
learn from, the other participants if they have contributed. Many
people also find it easier to listen attentively when they help shape
the conversation. You can participate in Balisage 2014!
There are several opportunities for you to participate at Balisage:
The Markup Conference 2014 and also at the pre-conference symposium
on HTML5 and XML:
- Posters at Balisage
Start a discussion, present an idea, or ask a question. Any
participant at Balisage is welcome to put up a poster (or two)

- Play Balisage Bluff
Many Balisageurs have stories to tell. Some of them are true, some
are just entertainments. The audience is challenged to tell truth
from fiction. Come tell us your best markup-related story.

- Lightning talks at the symposium on HTML5 and XML
Do you have an idea, opinion, or experience to share concerning
HTML5/XML or the two together?

- Questions about the next 25 years of the Web
Do you have a question for the editor of the W3C HTML5 specification?
He will answer questions during the last session of the symposium:
