Thank you Dave,

While I believe this course is a systematic treatment of XPath 3.0, it
doesn't address XPath 3.1 -- simply because this work precedes the
appearance of the XPath 3.1 standard.

I will probably have the pleasure of producing an XPath 3.1 course, as
well as the sequel (second part) of the course:
