Hi all,
The XML Summer School, held each year in September in Oxford, England, has announced more of this year's program. This is an event for people who want to learn more about XML, whether they be relative newcomers or have many years experience. The week-long school features many hands-on courses. Course titles for this year are
- Hands-on Introduction to XML
- Linked Data
- Publishing Techniques with XML
- Hands-on Digital Publishing with XSLT
- XSLT and XQuery
as well as the Trends and Transients day, which this year features Alexandra Deschamps-Sonsino, Cigdem Sengul, David Shotton, and Peter Murray-Rust.
The registration fees include lodging and meals as well as social events such as punting. Oxford is an easy bus ride from Heathrow Airport, making travel very practical for those of you in North America and farther afield. So, consider coming to the beautiful town of Oxford this summer to further advance your XML skills and socialize with people with the same interests and challenges in a relaxed and fun setting.
cheers,
Lauren
