We released version 22 of Oxygen XML Editor and the related products we
developed during the last years, covering along with XML development and
authoring on desktop also web editing, collaboration and publishing.
Some highlights of this release include:
- DITA authoring support includes a special layout tuned for DITA work,
the new DITA perspective, many improvements to search, refactoring and
validation as well as support for the new DITA-OT Project files
- Improved Markdown support, including as you type Schematron validation
for Markdown, made available also in the Oxygen XML Web Author, see a
sample Markdown file at
- The Oxygen Feedback, a commenting platform for any HTML content but
useful in particular for the DITA generated WebHelp, as Oxygen can use a
plugin that connects the user feedback to the DITA source
- The Oxygen Publishing Engine that allows running the DITA publishing
(in the future it will cover any Oxygen transformation scenario) outside
Oxygen, for example from a continuous integration server
