(Off topic: Schematron.com and WordPress and PaheSeeder)
I really like WordPress, because of familiarity and convenience, except when it isnt. Its ecosystem of themes is excellent.
Nick Carr of my old employer Allette Systems, who has generously paid the bills and domain fees for
schematron.com for the last 20 years with no thanks or fuss, has offered to provide a PageSeeder license to let me move over to a much more high-powered CMS. I am seriously considering it, if not 2021 then 2022.
PageSeeder is particularly useful for committee documents (such as national Building Standards) where you have multiple versions to reconcile, need fast implementation, or have highly linked documents with lots of field: they have undoubtedly the best Schematron implementation I have seen as part of their editor: sooooo slick. At heart, it is an XLink database. (CoincidentaIly, I just finished a 1 month contract with Egloo Technologies, who use PageSeeder's publishing as a platform for their TechReader product for making online technical manuals.)
So it seems a good offer.
Cheers
Rick
