RE: [chairs] relations with W3C
The BTP TC, and I suspect many others, would benefit from a working relationship with the web services activity at W3C, especially with the XML Protocol working group. There seems to be a conflict in the W3C over SOAP based applications and the HTTP REST architecture. =bill -----Original Message----- From: Karl F. As part of our discussions W3C has asked for specific problems or concerns that should be addressed. In preparation for our next meeting at the end of next week I would like to hear from any of the OASIS TCs that now have or could have a liaison relationship with a W3C working group or activity, or whose technical work in some way overlaps or relates to their work. Please let me know what specific issues your TC may have including but not limited to obstacles to working together, divergent goals, IP issues, scheduling issues, what groups you need to work with, etc. </karl> ================================================================= Karl F.
