I guess my main problem is that, if anything, that is XDITA... but not the whole spectrum of Lightweight DITA.

I don't really have problems with it. It's a clumsy marketing
      video, in which the scripts confuses/conflates the following:

    
      
That this version of Framemaker has EDDs for LwDITA

      
Framemaker now has (better?) support for enabling users to
        simplify the DITA authoring experience by including or excluding

I wouldn't get too bent out of shape by it.

    
Of course, it would be better if their marketing was more
