Might I suggest we cancel today's teleconference?
SIDSC
members;

I had a
deliverable to complete the element decription topics that I’d signed up to
author and get them to Tom Cihak so that he could merge them into the rest of
the topics the team has completed. Then we were going to generate a PDF and post
it ahead of today’s meeting to give everyone a chance to do a quick
review so that we could start discussing changes on the call.

A few
unexpected demands on my time over the last week have prevented me from
completing this task (yet again). So we won’t have much to discuss on
today’s call. I’d like to propose that I’ll use the time slot
for today’s teleconference to work on completing my topics and generating
the PDF. Hopefully I’ll get that file posted to the SIDSC files area and
notify everyone of its availability no later than the end of this week. That
will give everyone a little over a week to review it before our next scheduled
call.

Unless I
hear a “there’s something I need to talk to the team about, so let’s
have today’s call” reply to this message, everyone can assume that
today’s teleconference is cancelled.

Respectfully,

Bob Beims
