RE: FYI ... SIDSC content in the 'real world'
Congratulations Bob! That’s a great milestone to have achieved!! Seraphim From: Beims Bob-RWBC70 [mailto:] Sent: Tuesday, September 28, 2010 6:24 AM To: Semiconductor Information Design Subcommittee Cc: Don Day Subject: [dita-sidsc] FYI ... SIDSC content in the 'real world' SIDSC members; It has been a long time coming … drum roll, please … Freescale has released our first public document that utilizes the DITA SIDSC specializations! In case you’re curious, the document can be downloaded @ http://cache.freescale.com/files/dsp/doc/ref_manual/MCIMX28RM.pdf. All of the memory map and register content displayed in that PDF is sourced from SIDSC files (of course, all of the text is in DITA, and graphics are in SVG). As a subcommittee, we can now officially state that one member company has implemented the specialization standard. Respectfully, Bob Beims Chair, OASIS DITA TC Semiconductor Information Design Subcommittee (SIDSC) Applications Engineer, Staff Principal Microcontroller Solutions Group Freescale Semiconductor, Inc. 6501 William Cannon Drive West, MD: OE327 Austin, TX 78735-8598 www.freescale.com This e-mail, and any associated attachments have been classified as: [X]Public [ ]Freescale Semiconductor Internal Use Only [ ]Freescale Semiconductor Confidential Proprietary
