DITA and S1000D - anyone interested?

Let me know if you'd be interested in
exploring interoperability between DITA and S1000D, and also exploring
the possibility of convergence - in the sense of shared syntax for common
behaviors, or even an S1000D-owned set of DITA specializations that would
provide DITA-enabled S1000D authoring.

I haven't made any contact with the
S1000D standards committee at this point, but I hope to, and want to make
sure that any DITA interested parties are represented in any discussions.
