Modularize DITA Spec

Hi Folks

 

Today the Modularization of the DITA spec was raised.

I like the idea of modularization and perhaps even compliance levels.  The specification is quite long right now.  It would be interesting to see what such a modularization would look like.

 

Perhaps there should be:

 

-a Core Dita Spec (Architecture plus topic,concept,task,reference) – minimal set of domains.

- Learning Specialization Spec

- ... Other Specialization Specs (perhaps Troubleshooting, Pharama...)
