Re: [dita] <object> and HTML5

W3schools is an unsteady reference for HTML5 (or anything on its
    site). The spec is always best, and a good entry point to the spec
    is this site which has HTML5 committee members among its
    writers/reviewers, and links to the spec and provides commentary and
    an example (which, by my eye, seems more conventional than the
    w3schools version):

    Any differences down the road should be just a transformation
    mapping change, as it is with adapted elements like dl (with our
    added dlentry) and fig (where our title maps to their figcaption in
    a fixed HTML5 transform).

One of my clients is going to render
              HTML5 output from their DITA topics and is concerned about
              the changes in <object> support in HTML5. 
              Specifically, many of the attributes that are supported in
              earlier versions and that are supported in the DITA
