DOCBOOK-APPS: Linkannotations can't be nested with pdfjadetex

Sorry if this is an faq.
davidone asked it in June 1999 but there was no decent answer. 
I'm running RH 6.2 and I've just updated my tools according to the
postings from the last days.

When trying to run 

pdfjadetex Chemoinformatics.tex

I get the fatal error:

jadetex compiles the stuff without problems.
