Doing partial builds

Title: Doing partial builds

I have not been able to find in docbook, ant, or xsl any facility to do a partial book build easily. Commenting out Xincludes in a book.xml file approximates the functionality. I was looking for an easier solution that would allow me to build any topic individually.

Has anyone done this?
