Breaking docbook into multiple files

Hi,

  I have another simple question. What is the recommended way of
splitting a large docbook document into multiple other ? I see two
options:

- XInclude
- Inside the DCOTYPE, as <!ENTITY new-name SYSTEM "filename">

What are the drawbacks/ advantages ?
