Formatting appendix title

Hello!

 

I have the same issue that someone already had discussed here before, and here is Bob’s reply that already helped me partially:

With this change the appendix title changes to “Appendix 1. Title of Appendix” as I wish.

 

But in the ToC it is still displayed as “1. Title of Appendix”. I would like the word “Appendix” to appear also in the appendix title in ToC.

 

Is there a simple way to do it?

 

For sections I don’t use the word “Section” in titles and I don’t want it to appear in ToC. So, I would like it to be like:

1. Section One

2. Section Two

Appendix 1. Title of Appendix

 

So it’s all OK with sections, and the only trouble I have is with appendices.

 

I’m editing an article and using fo and xsltproc.
