Yes, even with my slight URN preference I recognize that
http://docbook.org/something is more "sexy" and easier to remember then
any of URLs or URNs that will be OASIS based.
But I would prefer namespace name without word "schema" inside it. It
can indicate for someone that this URL identifies schema location, not
namespace name. What about
http://docbook.org/ns/docbook
or
http://docbook.org/docbook/ns
or even very short
http://docbook.org/ns
Seems that namespace name selection is harder than finding name for baby :-D
