Yes, I know. I just wanted to raise issue to make sure that we will not
forget to correct it before release.

But we already have /xsd and /rng for WXS and RNG variants of V4.x XML
DTD. Wouldn't it be something like
http://docbook.org/schemas/5.0/docbook.rng
http://docbook.org/schemas/5.0/docbook.rnc
http://docbook.org/schemas/5.0/docbook.xsd
http://docbook.org/schemas/5.0/docbook.dtd
better?
Another idea is to have URI that will always provide the most current
version of schemas. Something like:
http://docbook.org/schemas/docbook.rnc
or
http://docbook.org/schemas/latest/docbook.rnc
However I haven't been thinking much about it yet, so there could be
some negative consequences of such arrangement.
