Like most (all?) commercial Unices, Irix assumes that you have a knowledgeable
and free (as in "free time") system administrator, which is able to gather,
compile, patch and install by himself. (I do it on Tru64.)
Other operating systems come with packaged tools so you can install the whole
DocBook suite in one command (and it works).
