DOCBOOK: Errors with XML and Openjade

Hello *,

has anyone a fix for this:

...
/usr/bin/openjade:/usr/share/docbook/ent/iso-lat1.ent:6:19:E:
"X00E1"
is not a function name
...

It is mentioned in the README of the Linuxfromscratch, XML 
documentation and also happens with my own xml-files.

It is very difficult to use syntaxchecking, with Xemacs + psgmlmode,
when I get this errors everytime I type C-c C-v ...

Docbook DTD for XML 4.1.2, openjade 1.3.

any hints and idea's are welcome.
