DOCBOOK: qoute and entity question

Hi,

i have two simple questions:
1. my doc lang is hu and i have some <qoute>(bb|[^b]{2})</qoute>.
what else can i do to render this prefect in hungarian like that:
,,(bb|[^b]{2})''
(i use dsssl/openjade)

2. the lame qoustion. There are 2 symbols like minus sign, a short
one and a long one. so what is the name of these entities?
