I would expect that if such a change were to be added to the DTD (and it
sounds like a good suggestion), the standard DocBook stylesheets would
render <admonition role="note"> in the same way they currently render
<note>. Users wouldn't need to make any customizations to the stylesheets,
just download the latest versions.
