calloutlist tag

Hello everybody, 

This is my very first message to a mailing list.... 
I apologize alreadey since I may disturb....

But I was wondering if we can use the spacing 
attribute in docbook::calloutlist as we do in 

itemizedlist.

If not is there a reason ?
