HR at top and bottom

Hi



I'm not able to remove the <hr> for the navigation header and footer. In
my XSL I'm using this code: d

  <xsl:param name="header.rule" select="0"></xsl:param>
  <xsl:param name="footer.rule" select="0"></xsl:param>

I thought this code was supposed to remove the <hr>-tag. What am I doing
wrong?
