DocBook V4.4 vs. DocBook NG

I've constructed a summary of the changes between DocBook V4.4 and
DocBook NG "Hard Cider":

This page shows which V4.4 elements have been removed and what new
elements have been added. It also attempts to summarize the
differences (at a very coarse level) between the V4.4 content models
and the NG content models.

Some bugs are immediately apparent (for example, titleabbrev should
not be allowed in abstract), but others may be more subtle or more
a matter of taste and judgement.

If you see anything that strikes you as odd, please point it out.
