Remote initial meeting participation, netmeeting option.

Hi

Some of you have expressed an interest
in a way to participate in the first
meeting remotely. Phone participation
in all day meetings, while possible,
is problematic partly because diagrams
and presentations are inaccessible, 
among other things.

If there is interest, I will look
into setting up a NetMeeting server
so that both presentations and audio
can be accessed. There may be firewall
issues (let me know if you have
met and solved these), 
and you will need to hook
up a microphone and headset on your side.

Please let me know whether this
option would be suitable as
an alternative for a phone hookup.
If so, I will continue efforts
to see whether it can be set up.
