eGovernment Member Section now closed

On 12 June 2013 the eGovernment Steering Committee voted that the
Member Section mission is complete and to close the Member Section.

First opened in 2007, this group has taken on some significant work
and addressed complex questions to promote the adoption and
implementation of open standards that facilitate interoperability
within and between government agencies and all of their stakeholders.
Under the continuous leadership of John Borras the group served their
mission and evolved to meet new and changing needs in the application
of technology to transformational government.

Going forward, we look forward to continued activity in the
Transformational Goverment Framework Technical Committee as the focal
point of egovernment work in OASIS.
