NYTimes: Ciber de-certifed as official testing lab in summer 2006

The NYTimes revealed in its article today that Ciber - one of the
two certified testing organizations - had actually been de-certified in
the summer of 2006.

All this raises serious questions about the level of testing
performed and the nature of the testing required by the US EAC and how
those tests are included into the procedures recommended. 

Once
again underscoring the need for open public solutions that can be
scrutinized other than in closed private processes - such as OASIS EML
of course!
