EML USA INTEROP DEMO

I had a telecon last week with some folks from NIST about the proposed USA Interop Demo.  Whilst NIST will not be participating in the Demo they gave us their views on the priorities and pointers in the TDGC draft document which is now out for public review.  See http://www.eac.gov/files/vvsg/Final-TGDC-VVSG-08312007.pdf

 

NIST say that Internet voting is not a key priority for USA.  The main issues are:

 

Integratability - see Part 1 Chap 6.6

Electronic records - see Part 1 Chap 4.3 

 

It would be useful if you could find time to scan these sections before tomorrow's TC meeting so we can get an early handle on how we need to conduct the Demo to meeet these aspects.
