stands for Common Alerting Protocol; it is a cool standard that does stuff
like this, http://hisz.rsoe.hu/alertmap/index.php?smp=&lang=eng. Security is
a huge problem across jurisdictions and within jurisdictions. It is really
both identity and access management, I think several OASIS security
standards could come into play here.
Maybe a coordinated call is in order, Patrick?
