Thank you for contacting me to ask about the status of the EMIX Technical Committee and its work. EMIX is indeed still active at OASIS (https://www.oasis-open.org/committees/emix) and you may find that the work of the Energy Interoperation Technical Committee relevant as well (https://www.oasis-open.org/committees/energyinterop/). The EMIX standard is current at Committee Specification stage, the first step towards becoming an OASIS Standard (http://docs.oasis-open.org/emix/emix/v1.0/cs01/emix-v1.0-cs01.html). Energy Interoperation is currently in its public review prior to being voted on as an OASIS Standard (http://docs.oasis-open.org/energyinterop/ei/v1.0/cos01/energyinterop-v1.0-cos01.html). 

I have copied on my reply the comment email addresses for both EMIX and Energy Interoperation Technical Committees. These comment mailing lists are the primary means by which the TCs gather feedback and questions from outside of OASIS. If you have specific questions, you can subscribe to either of these mailing lists and then send the members your questions. For now, I expect that you will hear from members of the TC who can give you more information about what work the TCs are engaged in now.

Good evening!

My name is Andrey Cunha and I'm from CCEE IT Architecture Team. We are

building

an Integration Platform to connect to our partners (power generation unit,

final

consumer, traders and distribution units) through an robust IT platform. To

enable this, we are currently looking for market standards in order to

understand how does the Agents and Agencies connects and communicates with

each

other, regarding to Energy Trading/Contracts transactions. For instance,

banks

uses SWIFT and FIX protocols for exchange and trading. The closest standard

we've found is eMIX but we are not sure if it still up and running or if you

have other standards we would be glad.
