Dean, the scope of KMPI is greatly exaggerated.

In fact, KMIP doesn't even support end-to-end-secured enrollment
of the kind already available in for example:

   http://www.google.com/wallet

That doesn't mean that KMIP is bad; it just means that KMIP will
be limited to storage solutions.
