This information is for inclusion in a TC resolution approving the
subcommittee.

SC Name: Signatures subcomittee

Statement of Purpose: To provide assistance to the TC with the various
signature profiles adopted by it for ECF 3.x and provide liasion with
the eNotary TC which is also developing signature profiles.

List of deliverables: Please refer to Charter, below

Chair of the SC: Nick Pope, John Messing, co-chairs

Charter

1. Provide  technical guidance as needed to implement the various
signature profiles with regard to matters such as security, efficiency,
interoperability and service-oriented architectures.

2. Address issues in applying any of the adopted signature profiles.

3. Identify, collect and help resolve any discovered signature
interoperability issues, including proposing, vetting or reviewing any
additionally submitted or needed signature profiles, as appropriate.

4. Identify providers of signature technologies that can service ECF 3.x
profiles in a SOA architecture and provide information about each.
