Hi to all,

Firstly, sincere apologies for the long silence. LegalXML has now completed
the transition to an OASIS vertical group and we are about ready to move all
the materials and discussions across.

This is an introductory email to get a virtual show of hands for those of
you with the stamina and interest to move the draft Transcript DTD along to
an excepted LegalXML / OASIS recommendation. 

Please reply to me directly at  and I will ensure
you get the information you need to take part. This is simply an initial
pole to collect interested parties to a list for transition. 

As a start point the current LegalXML charter and the draft DTD are now

I'm hopeful that the new structure will prove to be a better place for this
effort although it will require you all register as Oasis members.

There will shortly be a LegalXML / OASIS post to orientate you all towards
what the options are for you to participate and join OASIS.

We have some new members and leaders that I think will help ensure that we
succeed in creating a useful and meaningful XML Transcript standard.
