Attached is a draft of a reorganized document collection and a PowerPoint
showing a conceptual layout for the web page.  If you view the document an
outline you can see the whole picture or collapse it to levels 1, 2 & 3.

I have used traditional bibliographic field naming conventions. These can be
globally replaced with XML tags or other conventions such as a newly
emerging OASIS Document identifier.  Catherine Plummer and Professor Leff
has volunteered to help with the structure. I had help from a research
assistant I have used on other projects. She spent eight hours pulling
documents from across various archives and formats, and then normalizing the
entries. I spent 4-6 hours meeting with her, re-organizing the draft entries
and then putting them in a database format that reflected the functional
elements inherent in the actual data. Ideally, we should have a database
that published various reports to the web dynamically, so we can get lists
by author, date, committee and conduct both fielded and full text searching.
We can do this is a database and publish html pages to the web. Hopefully,
Professor Leff can pull some XML rabbits out of the hat so we have a more
useful web page and actually find documents or trace the history of the
standards development process.

 This list does not include a new and more complete list of document sent by
Catherine Plummer. I estimate 30 more hours of detailed work by the research
assistant get the collection up to snuff. I have budgeted $750 (30 X $25 per
hour). This does not including further time by myself, Catherine or
Professor Leff.
