[legalxml-sc] OASIS Board action

LegalXML SC:  The OASIS Board addressed on Monday the issue of the required bylaws  change, and approved the wording change so that members of the member  section can select the steering committee rather than the chair of the  member section.  However, the Board did not rescind the temporary moratorium on member  section elections as they still need to see resolved the issue of who is  a member of a member section and when; there appears to be some  inconsistency in policies between the Bylaws and the RoPs which the  Board would like to clear up. Valid elections cannot be held if we don't  know who is eligible to vote.  I'll work on this with the Board and keep you informed.  -Karl
