I feel we need some outreach to legal practitioners. If attorneys aren't aware of what's coming, they're not going to be asking their managing partners and IT departments to get them prepared for it. I am wondering whether OASIS PR shouldn't be directed in part towards bar associations and members, providing more-or-less generic messages indicating that OASIS (and LegalXML within) is a focal point for standards for future legal document technology. Part of what it would take to make such a PR program successful would be information on the OASIS and LegalXML sites that is comprehensible to the lay audience. I think there is very little today that is.
