Patrick – Thank you for your
response to our quarterly report. Here are my replies:
Yesterday was the deadline for proposals
to serve as consultant to the Member Section. We have received four
proposals. We will evaluate them, send them all to you with our comments
and recommendations and leave the final decisions and contracting to you.
Don – We need to make sure that
Betty Harvey’s facilitation contract is handled as Patrick points
out. I will leave it to you to work with Karl or Jamie or Patrick on
this. I will formally approve the expenditure when you all have worked
out the details.
We worked out with Karl the way in which
the eNotary TC works with non-OASIS members. There are two
meetings. There is a general discussion including the non-OASIS members. Then
there is a separate meeting of the TC involving only the TC members.
On occasion, at the discretion of the
chair, the other TCs allow interested persons to participate in a particular
meeting as an observer. We did it once for a representative of the
federal courts to provide a presentation on their efiling process. We
also use it as a recruiting tool. When an observer attends, we require
him or her to agree to be bound by OASIS and TC IP policies.
I ask Jim Cabral, Ellen Perry and John Ruegg to have a conference
call with Karl and Jamie to discuss the issues associated with providing the Integrated
Justice reference documents to GJXDM.
We will coordinate interoperability
demonstrations and conformance tests with Karl and Jamie.
Don Bergeron – Please email Dee Schur about possible OASIS
member prospects. I am not at all sure that you want Dee contacting your
prospective members at this point. But that is between you and Dee.
Please also let Jamie and Karl know if you
want help from other TCs for the Burlington meeting.
